Watch Penn State signers including CD East’s Mehki Flowers and Imhotep’s Keon Wylie practice for the Big 33 Football Classic

STATE UNIVERSITY – Penn State once again has a strong presence on Team Pennsylvania for the Big 33 Football Classic, and the future Nittany Lions put their skills on display Saturday afternoon down the hill from their future school.

The Pennsylvania team has prepared at State College’s Memorial Field as they prepare to face the Maryland team next month at Bishop McDevitt in Harrisburg. The players are in town for two days of training with the game scheduled for May 30.

There are five future Penn State players on the Pennsylvania team roster: CD East safety Mehki Flowers, Imhotep Charter linebacker Keon Wylie, Northeast defensive end Ken Talley, Manheim Twp. wide receiver Anthony Ivey and Wyoming-area long snapper Blaise Sokach-Minnick.

Penn State freshman quarterback Beau Pribula, who signed up in January, stopped and watched the practice from the stands before catching up with some of the players afterwards.

Flowers, Ivey and Talley were all four-star recruits in the Class of 2022, while Wylie was a three-star recruit. Sokach-Minnick, who will walk at Penn State, was rated a five-star long snapper prospect and the No. 4 long snapper in the nation by Rubio Long Snapping.

Penn State’s Class of 2022 finished the recruiting cycle ranked 6th nationally and 2nd in the Big Ten in the 247Sports composite rankings.
